Venezuelan by birth, Peruvian by blood, French by training. I build the unglamorous systems that make organisations work, and I write to understand which criteria dominate my thinking and whether my actions are coherent with who I am and who I want to be.
Origins
I was born in Caracas in 2000 and raised in Venezuela. When the country stopped being a place where a family could subsist with dignity, we left at the end of 2017: six months in Peru, where my parents are from the villages of Huaral and Chancay just north of Lima, and then France, where I arrived alone in August 2018 with a language I barely spoke and no map for the year ahead. That single move taught me more about resilience than any classroom did, and it set the pattern for everything after it: choose the harder path, and understand the new culture, ways and people's mindset where I now live. Growing up I balanced my time between sports and music: karate, swimming and football, then drums, music theory, and a brief turn as a tenor voice in a local chorus. By seventeen I had earned a Level 3 percussion certificate from the National Conservatory in Lima.

Formation
Economics gave me a grammar for the questions I already had about why some countries prosper and others do not. I chose it because I wanted to understand the root causes of the economic, social and political collapse that shaped my teenage years in Venezuela from 2013 to 2017. I studied Applied Economics at Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona (2022-2023, with a fee waiver for academic excellence covering the €5,500 tuition) and Public Policy and Development at the Toulouse School of Economics (2023-2024). The toolkit was econometrics, causal inference, political economy and the long history of trade. Alongside the degrees, I learnt two additional languages (besides my native Spanish): English at C1 through TOEFL and French at C1 through a DELF B2 in Caracas followed by three years of living in Toulouse. The habit that outlasted all of them was writing things down to think more clearly.
Practice
My professional energy so far has gone into operating systems. At Aura Pay I modelled financial scenarios to convince investors for a Seed investment round. The value proposition was sound and clear: a social fintech solution for sending low-cost family remittances to LATAM based on subscriptions that guarantee the best conversion rates and a cryptographic wallet for monetary stability. At Deale, the first digital platform for doing M&A in Europe (small & middle market), I was the first member of the Account Management team and designed the machinery of the marketplace: onboarding protocols, a churn prediction system, investor classification, matching quality, the invisible rails the business ran on. I am drawn to the part of work where unclear problems become repeatable systems: the operating models, the hand-offs, the decision rules that let a team separate signal from noise. I am especially interested in the moment AI stops being a polished slide and becomes something the team uses without thinking: a model that ranks prospects every morning, a recommendation that appears exactly where an account manager makes the call, an alert that flags a client before they leave. I am not excited by the isolated prototype; I am excited when AI is part of the workflow, delivers predictable results, and has someone responsible for reviewing, correcting, and turning it off if it fails.
Direction
Underneath the work sits a longer arc. I believe education, entrepreneurship and thoughtful public policy are the real engines of development, and that real change begins with a person who has learned to govern oneself. Everything below, the direction, the assessment, the writing, the projects, is an honest account of someone still practicing that.

The direction has stayed the same for years, even as the details changed. I want to keep building things that solve real problems for real people. My goal is to always leave things at least a little better than I found them, consistently.

Keep building operating systems, and keep choosing work that improves how people learn, decide, and cooperate. I would rather be useful inside organisations whose values I would defend in public than visible in ones I would not.

Stay a perpetual apprentice. Read widely, write regularly, test ideas in the open, and accept that most progress comes from repetition.

I hold a picture of how something should work and push until reality matches it. Goals are set high on purpose, and I would rather rebuild a process than tolerate one that quietly leaks value. In practice this shows up as long horizons, blunt prioritisation, and a willingness to own the unglamorous part of the build.
I move toward unfamiliar problems, treat feedback as data rather than verdict, and change my mind in public when the evidence asks me to. The risk is obvious: curiosity can scatter, so I anchor it to one system I am accountable for at a time.

Beyond Quiet Leader, these two archetypes came out as the least like me: I am not dramatic, and other people's emotional needs rarely steer my decisions.
I do not need to be the distinctive voice in the room, and I rarely dramatise a position to be heard. That keeps meetings calm and decisions grounded, but it means I have to deliberately make my thinking visible; otherwise good judgment stays private and never becomes a shared standard.
I care about people, but my first instinct is to fix the system that is failing them rather than to sit with the feeling in the moment. I am steady when things go wrong, but I do not naturally do the small, repeated check-ins that keep relationships warm day to day. So I put one-on-one time on the calendar instead of waiting for it to happen by reflex.
