Writing.

For years I have kept a private journal, in Spanish, English and sometimes French. What follows is a curated selection: 274 entries lightly edited for a reader and stripped of names and things that belong only to the people who lived them. What remains is the shape of a mind trying to organize itself, one day at a time.

Filter by year or by theme. Entries appear newest first.

Defining your own destiny

Those who do not involve themselves in politics, while always respecting their principles and values, will find themselves in an environment where others rule their destiny and define the options for their future. Influencing life positively requires individual strength and a genuine interest in the common good over individual benefit. On a personal level, I am regaining control of my finances, maintaining the habit of paying myself first, and clearing out the old to make room for the new. I have learned that with better self-control, anticipation, and planning, you can emerge from any 'freestyle' period of life with a better perspective for the next chapter.

Seeking high talent density

I am exploring opportunities in cities like New York, London, or Stockholm. I believe these environments foster a mentality where talent, persistence, and innovation allow you to build things that others haven't imagined. It is natural for people to try to maintain the status quo because it is comfortable. However, growth and the evolution of nations depend on curiosity, open-mindedness, and an alignment with the principle of equal opportunity for all. I want to be in an environment where the vision is driven by high talent density and a clear mission. My path must lead me toward where I can evolve through the expertise of my peers and participate in a larger market.

Thinker and executor

Finishing my degree and securing the right internship is vital, not just for my career, but to honor the effort and resources my parents invested in my education. This is the first step toward becoming a policy maker in the long term, whether in organizations, communities, or nations. To achieve this, I must return to the balance of being both a thinker and an executor. Being organized and anticipating problems is key; thinking about the medium and long-term horizons is what gives meaning to short-term actions. I am working on connecting all the dots to bring out my most strategic version so I can reach macro objectives alongside other high-value individuals.

The rhythm of excellence

I am currently balancing a demanding job with finishing my degree. I realize now that my error was believing one was more important than the other at different times. The essential lesson is knowing how to balance long-term value against short-term satisfaction. I should have asked for more help from the beginning, organized better, and anticipated more. Correcting these flaws requires better planning of days, weeks, and eventually years. Strategic execution is about the management of your most important resources: time, energy, money, and attention. The momentum of becoming an expert comes from a willingness to do something very small today and repeat it tomorrow, slightly increasing the difficulty every day without stopping.

The future of education

I am thinking about how our concept of work will change for an entire generation at an accelerated pace. I imagine my children viewing my current approach as traditional or conservative, much like I view my parents' perspectives. History, empirical science, and philosophy are vital because they allow us to learn from the mistakes of others. Constant questioning brings us closer to the truth because it forces us to be critical of what our senses perceive, giving us the perspective needed to understand reality. I am excited for a future where technology allows for personalized learning, and I want to form part of the teams that revolutionize education for the better. This path is difficult by definition, but significant in the long term.

The unbendable spirit

I recently had a conversation with a professional contact from Argentina now based in London. It reminded me that the ability to be truly yourself with those you work with is fundamental to making work meaningful, excellent, and high quality. In my mind, a specific principle resonates: in order to bend another's energy, your own spirit must be unbendable. I continue to believe that people and environments change when your own spirit is unwavering. Lasting changes are built from the ground up through small, consistent actions and facts rather than mere speculation. Kindness and excellence always win in the long run.

Control over credit

We just closed a deal that I originated alongside a teammate. Although public credit is often directed toward others, I remind myself that the most important thing is not feeding the ego for achievements reached. Instead, it is the internal, solid knowledge that I was a key part of the origination, follow-up, and negotiation process. The pride of helping parties connect and close a transaction is the real reward. If others choose to grant me credit, it is a bonus. However, what others think or say is not under my control. What is under my control is making my work visible through tangible data and adding value by generating and successfully executing ideas. I leave the rest to providence.

Identity by design not freestyle

Apalling to 'freestyle' penalizes the use of my time and leaves my progress at the mercy of how I feel in the moment. If I truly want to evolve, there must be order, organization, and a series of trade-offs I am willing to make. I need to visualize exactly what will happen the next day, specifically the very first thing I will do upon waking, as this conditions the decision before the moment arrives. I am working to become the person I designed for myself, doing things I haven't done before to permanently change my identity. In professional matters, choosing options that empower you makes triumph over your limitations inevitable. The goal is to increase my market value and move toward environments that are more innovative and empowering.

Turning the unconscious into conscious

I am working to turn the unconscious into conscious, as Carl Jung suggested, so that 'destiny' doesn't simply rule my life. By meditating and observing my own patterns, I am trying to own my fate. For example, I have noticed that while I struggled with consistency in my habits earlier this year, I have built a solid momentum in May. I record my thoughts regardless of how I feel. If I feel bad, it is even more important to clarify those ideas through language rather than letting them float fuzzily in my mind. I am seeking that traction that only those who refuse to give up eventually find. This perspective is translatable to everything, from the professional to the personal. Only by facing the hidden parts of ourselves with pragmatism and without judgment can we truly direct our path.

The necessity of a high level tribe

It is essential to surround yourself with and learn from people who are better than you. If you are not doing that, you are absorbing habits from the wrong people, which heavily penalizes the growth and evolution you want for yourself in the long term. A structural change is often necessary to ensure the energy you emit allows you to connect with a higher-level collective. I am observing this growth even in my colleagues, it proves that what every human being needs is a 'tribe' that believes in them, exigently pushing for progress while remaining compassionate toward errors. Everything stems from genuine intention. The fruit of such a culture will always be positive, sooner or later.

Complexity and the A player environment

Genuine, essential racism is ignorant by nature. When we encounter it, it is often a sign that we are in the wrong environment. Those who seek to hurt others with such comments are often reflecting their own lack of courage to face their own truths. To understand others, it is fundamental to understand oneself first. We must cultivate a curiosity and mental openness that seeks to increase the complexity of our beliefs about other people and reduce the illusion of essential separation. Truly excellent organizations are those where 'A players' attract other 'A players,' coexisting without pretense. I want to be in environments that prioritize excellence and mission, where people can be their authentic selves while driving toward a shared goal.

Forging mentality through adversity

Reflecting on my time at university and my internship challenges, I feel a deep sense of gratitude for the opportunity to have studied in France. This journey has been my primary teacher. The pain I felt, which in the end existed mostly in my mind, has forged the man I am now and shaped my current mentality. As this cycle ends, I feel prepared for the next stage of risk and exposure to positive randomness. My dream is to become a high-level businessman and investor. Graduation represents more than just a degree, it is the joy I owe to my parents who sacrificed so much for me to be here. I am moving toward my vision with discernment, seeking the path that aligns with my long-term objectives. Purpose provides the fuel to finish the race in the best way possible.

The cumulative power of consistency

Establishing a morning routine is a manifesto of respect toward my health and myself. I am finding that exposing myself to morning sunlight first thing in the day yields real fruits. Being in silence and letting natural light hit my retinas sets a tone for the day. However, I am realizing that seven hours of sleep remains insufficient. To function at my peak, I must respect the 8.5 to 9 hours my mind actually needs. Consistency is the goal, regardless of the circumstances. Whether it is tracking macros or showing up at the gym, these small daily efforts are not just isolated acts, they are accumulating into an unprecedented inertia that makes each subsequent step easier. Learning, iterating quickly, and diagnosing the root cause of problems through rigorous planning are the essential ingredients of my success. It is not just blind execution, organization and anticipation are vital.

"When thou risest unwillingly, let this thought be present, I am rising to the work of a human being."
Marcus Aurelius, Meditations V, 1
